Hi, By now many of you may know that there are a number of blocked sites including the piratebay out there.
The question is, "how do you gain access to such sites?"
The answer is simple> There are 3 different methods of doing so.
1) Use a VPN (virtual private network)
2) Use a Mirror
3) Use a proxy
VPN> using a vpn will work in almost every case however they are slow and can sometimes cost you money.
Mirror> These are by far the most convenient methods of accessing blocked sites however sometimes they stop working and your IP is easily traceable.
Proxy> Using a proxy is much more secure and private. It is also the most reliable method out of the three and also the one with the least disadvantages.
An example of a proxy is http://www.hidemyass.com/ while an example of a mirror is http://tpb.pirateparty.org.uk/.
A mirror will let you gain access to a specific site only while you are able to browse the web with a proxy.
The Article i have written is a guide for beginners who wish to know how to access sites blocked by their ISP's and who do not want to read long and complicated articles.
